The business has been bought by Scotmid which is Scotland’s largest independent co-operative employing around 3,600 people across its retail stores and 17 funeral homes. The acquisition strengthens Scotmid’s position in the funeral services market in Scotland. They will now operate from 40 sites and have also geographically extended their branch network into the west of Scotland.
