We acted for The Parkmead Group plc on its sale of Parkmead (E&P) Limited to Serica Energy plc. This was a very significant transaction for Parkmead as Parkmead (E&P) Limited held Parkmead's offshore oil licences together with its Netherlands onshore gas licences. The Netherlands asset portfolio was excluded from the scope of the transaction and retained by the Group. The transaction therefore involved a pre-completion transfer of the Netherlands licence interests from Parkmead (E&P) Limited to another Parkmead group company.
