The Merchants House of Glasgow

The Life Sciences sector in Scotland is at a critical crossroads.

Our nation’s research excellence into multiple aspect of healthcare and life sciences have long been hailed at world leading.

But with new innovation, and the application of machine learning and AI on an industrial scale, Scotland must step up once again or simply live on past glory and fading reputations.

The Business Dealmakers’ Breakfast investigates the vital issues of finance, skills and political support which are urgently required to ensure the success of the life sciences sector.

This is a post-election panel event which will be urging Scotland’s new policymakers to make the right decisions for one of our key industrial sectors.

It also calls on the life sciences industry across Scotland, in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness, to collaborate on creating new centres of excellence for new gene and cell research.

The expert panel of pracitioners will bring insights from their work in international markets in India, the United States, Europe and how Scotland’s life science sector is viewed.
