Pinsent Masons has advised leading telecoms infrastructure business Cellnex on its acquisition of WHP Estates from WHP Telecoms (a telecommunications company backed by private equity firm Equistone). The target owns the Grant Agreement with the Scottish Government for its 4G Infill Programme (S4GI), as well as holding various tower and lease assets in Scotland.
