Pinsent Masons has advised UK Assistance Accident Repair Centres Limited (a subsidiary of Direct Line Insurance Group plc) on the acquisition of a vehicle body repair business based in Perth, Scotland. This is the seventh such acquisition we have advised Direct Line on, as it continues to grow its in-house vehicle repair centre network to support its market leading car insurance business. Direct Line continues to look for strategic acquisition opportunities in this space and we are about to commence work on the next one.
