Harper Macleod advised NHS Lanarkshire in relation to a variation to the PFI contract for University Hospital Wishaw. . The variation involved the insourcing of the soft FM services from Serco (via ProjectCo) and the transfer of 300+ members of staff from Serco to the NHS. It is one of the largest and most significant PFI contract variations in Scotland in recent years. ProjectCo’s funders also had to consent to this deal.
