We are advising Gresham House Asset Management on further closings for its Gresham House Forest Growth & Sustainability Fund, with £200 million raised from investors including Scottish National Investment Bank. The fund's strategy aims to deliver sustainable capital growth through new productive woodland creation, whilst also providing exposure to income generating existing forestry. The fund aims to capture 1.3 million tonnes of CO2 over 20 years and aims to generate carbon credits in the form of Woodland Carbon Units (WCUs) which will create additional value or be used to offset carbon emissions on a voluntary basis.
