A boutique professional services firm – founded by two Scots and based in Hatton Garden in London – has been bought by the global change and transformation consultancy, CubeMatch for an undisclosed sum.

DVCP specialises in financial services transformation, technology strategy and programme assurance.

Mhairi Kennedy and Tom Saunders set up DVCP in 2020 and were joined the following year by David Campbell.  Mhairi Kennedy is a transformation director from Kilwinning and a C-suite executive and Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in financial services including Sainsbury’s Bank, based in Edinburgh. Mhairi was Transformation Director for MIB, was CIO with Barclaycard and held executive management roles with Barclays, HBOS and RBS. She is a non-executive director with Registers of Scotland and the University of West of Scotland.

Tom Saunders is a seasoned board and ExCo leader, a career CIO, and specialist in transformation, M&A, and technology strategy with CIO roles at the Co-operative Banking Group, BSI Group, the Ministry of Defence, and Aldermore Bank.

David Campbell joined DVCP after working for a decade as a technology and transformation strategic director in investment banking, retail banking and asset management, delivering successful programme turnarounds for more than 20 institutions, including Morgan Stanley, Royal London, Bank of Ireland and NatWest. Originally from Eriskay and South Uist, David lives in Glasgow.  He is a member of Entrepreneurial Scotland, which has played a pivotal role in David’s and DVCP’s journey.

Tom Melville, chief executive officer of CubeMatch, said: “Our partnership with DVCP marks a significant step forward in our UK growth strategy. By bringing together DVCP’s respected team of specialists and our own expertise, we are uniquely positioned to help clients tackle the most complex technology and regulatory challenges in financial services.”

Dublin-based CubeMatch, which serves blue-chip clients in the banking and financial services industry, has secured an initial shareholding in DVCP, with a full acquisition expected to complete by the end of 2026.
