The UK, Irish and Middle Eastern division of international law firm Dentons recorded revenues of £336m for the year ended 30 April 2026, representing a 10 per cent growth in revenue. This includes legal teams in Scotland where Dentons has offices in George Square in Glasgow, and at Haymarket in Edinburgh.
The UKIME result reflects the firm’s strategy of building deeper client relationships and winning a greater share of complex, multi-jurisdictional mandates, alongside continued investment in strategic practice areas and expansion in Ireland and the Middle East.
Paul Jarvis, CEO of UK, Ireland and Middle East since 2021, has led the firm’s five-year strategy, focused on deepening client relationships and positioning itself as a preferred adviser to large businesses with complex legal needs across multiple geographies.
Jarvis said: “We’ve been more intentional about building deeper relationships with sophisticated clients and are now winning work that would have felt ambitious five years ago. Dentons has the largest global presence of any law firm, which allows us to combine deep local knowledge with global coordination to help businesses execute complex, cross-border work at speed. Our revenue growth is driven by winning a greater share of these complex multi-jurisdictional mandates.”
All UK practice groups recorded revenue growth, with standout performances from: Banking – up 23 per cent; Regulatory and Investigations – up 25 per cent; and Restructuring – up 33 per cent.
“We’ve invested heavily in areas such as Regulatory and Investigations and Restructuring because clients tell us they expect an increasingly complex operating environment, with issues spanning jurisdictions, regulators and business functions. Our investments in these areas are now delivering strong growth.”
Dentons’ Dublin office recorded 27 per cent revenue growth during FY2025/26, maintaining an average annual growth rate of 22 per cent over the past three years.
Growth was driven by strong performances across Corporate and Disputes, alongside an increase in partner numbers including recent lateral investment in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications and Real Estate practices.
Jarvis said: “In Dublin, we’ve built an elite practice. Achieving Band 1 legal directory status for our Corporate practice within five years of launching is exceptional. Dentons is the firm that Ireland’s ambitious, internationally minded lawyers want to join“.
Middle East revenues increased by 6 per cent, despite a challenging final quarter shaped by regional instability.
Jarvis, who is based in Abu Dhabi, said: “The resilience of our Middle East business has been particularly encouraging given the geopolitical backdrop. The region has been an important part of our business for many decades, and clients have valued both our advice and our continued presence alongside them throughout this period.”
In Scotland, Dentons’ managing partner is Claire Armstrong, based in Edinburgh, while Lorna McCaa is a partner in Glasgow.
